In three ski areas , that can be reached easily from the Hotel Edelweiss, you will find over 90 lifts and over 350 km of perfectly groomed pists . The "Buchensteinwand" in Hochfilzen is perfect for families . The Skicircus (Start from Fieberbrunn or Leogang) with over 275 km of pists guarantees unlimited ski fascination. Our region and especially " your" holiday destination Hochfilzen are at 3400 feet above sea level. This means, that we do not only have great groomed and prepared pist-conditions for you, we are also extremely " snow sure " from November to Easter.

For beginners and powder-fans

If your “ skiing skills " stuck a little bit, don´t worry, we have lots of easy slopes for beginners. If you want to work on your skills and the perfect carving turns, four different ski schools in the region will assist you. You can be sure that your skiing skills and that of your little one´s get better every day and you can flirt with the real sportive runs in the region soon.

Events and Highlights to enjoy

In the ski resorts in the PillerseeTal, there is another very special "swing" that you will learn quickly: the "Einkehrschwung"! The mountain huts in the ski area impress with delicious, regional food, but also with wonderful terraces and a great panorama.

Especially from mid-February sun skiing becomes a pleasure. You will also experience a lot of moments of enjoyment at the White Pearl Mountain Days in the Skicircus - from mid-March sunshine, musical highlights and culinary delicacies in the ski area will make your day.
