During wintertime, we have (almost) only one thing on our mind: biathlon! No wonder: this area has a lot of connections with this exciting sport! Every year in December, the Biathlon World Cup takes place in Hochfilzen, the "snowhole" of Tyrol.

Hochfilzen impresses with its perfectly prepared cross-country ski tracks in different degrees of difficulty. Whether classic or skating style, beginner or professional, here you will find the perfect match for you.

Biathlon World Cup

Every year in December, the Biathlon World Cup takes place in Hochfilzen. When the stars of this fascinating sport are starting, the stadium with its 30,000 fans turns into a real cauldron. Experience the fascination and celebrate the World Cup festival in Hochfilzen with us.

By the way: If you want to breathe biathlon air by yourself: In Hochfilzen we offer biathlon for guests weekly.

For professionals or beginners we offer excellent training conditions. On our altitude of up to 1,000 meters above sea level, you will not be disappointed with the results of training . Our cross-country and track network is excellent, signposted and classified. Even GPS data of the trails are available. If youn train hard, you´ll need good food and a deep sleep - and that's what we are responsible for.
